May 8, 2020 - J and P Machine Repair Expands Services to Programming Side-By-Sides
`Dyersburg, Tennessee (05/07/20) – Dyersburg, Tennessee-based J&P Machine Repair has been specializing in diesel engine performance, repair, and programming for more than a decade. The company has recently expanded its repertoire to now include programming for Side-By-Sides (SxS).

“With a love for racing and performance, I have always strived to make customer’s trucks, semis, and other equipment perform and operate to the fullest capabilities,” J&P Machine Repair’s Preston Seratt said. “When the COVID-19 pandemic hit, and racing was put on hold, I started trail riding and cruising with friends on the weekends.”

Seratt’s nature to always find new business endeavors led to him quickly noticing an aftermarket need in the recreational SxS vehicles.

“Immediately, I found the need for performance gains,” Seratt noted. “These units have a ton of limiters and restrictors, which cut back the true performance of the engines.”

If you are using your vehicle for farm or work applications, J&P Machine Repair can remove smaller torque limiters for hauling logs or heavy loads. Additionally, the company can adjust cooling fan, temperature engagements for a cooler running engine during the hot summer.

Conversely, you may be the performance enthusiast, who simply wants more speed. If so, J&P Machine Repair can adjust timing, fuel mapping, RPM limiters, speed limiters, and boost pressures to give you the edge on the competition. Last but not least, adjustments are available all the way to stage 3 setups for racing or mud competition.

“I strive to provide you with the best performance and most reliable tunes to keep you working in the field or on the trails having fun,” Seratt shared. “We are currently tuning most Can-Am and Polaris 2016-2019 model Side-by-Sides. It’s also worth noting that we have some fresh 2020 showroom models that we are testing on. We’re constantly looking for any-and-every possible way to find new performance gains.”
