October 22, 2016 - Ashley Newman Returns to Victory Lane in Fall Classic at Whynot; Seratt Places 6th
`Running in the 22nd Annual Coors Light Fall Classic, both Preston Seratt and Ashley Newman headed to Whynot Motorsports Park (Meridian, Mississippi) on Friday for the two-day event. After timing in 2nd and 4th fastest in a field of 30 Open Wheel Modifieds, Newman stormed to a heat race win locking his spot into the A-Main on Saturday. Battling for the top spot in his heat, Seratt landed a runner-up spot in a photo finish putting him 4th on the starting rundown for the main event. With $2,000 on the line, Ashley Newman captured his second victory in his second start in the Seratt Motorspots #29N machine with Gregg Hollingsworth, Toby Dodge, Ben Stephens, and Bryan Powell rounding out the Top 5. Preston fell one position short of a Top 5 outing posting a 6th place finish.

October 15, 2016 - Preston Lands Podium Spot While New Teammate Ashley Newman Wins at Clayhill Motorsports
`Making the first start of the season as teammates, Preston Seratt and Ashley Newman visited Clayhill Motorsports (Atwood, Tennessee) on Saturday night for the King of the Hill event. Drawing 26 Open Wheel Modifieds for the K&N Filters USCS Modified sanctioned program, Seratt scored a runner-up finish in his heat behind Bart Richardson while Newman secured his spot into the A-Main with a 2nd place finish in his heat behind Troy Dow. Coming from the 5th-starting position, Ashley Newman wheeled his way to the 20-lap victory in his first Modified start of the season. October 1, 2016 - Seratt Lands in Top 5 in Modified at Clayhill Motorsports Cotton Bowl Cup
1Running in the three-day Cotton Bown Cup, Preston Seratt headed to Clayhill Motorsports (Atwood, Tennessee) on Thursday night competing in both the Open Wheel Modified and NeSmith Street Stock division. After going through qualifying to find out his fastest time in his Street Stock would be erased due to timing malfunctions, Preston was leading his Street Stock heat until breaking a gear forcing him to withdraw from the event. Storming to a heat race win from the 2nd starting spot in his Modified heat, Seratt locked his spot into the main event on Saturday evening.

July 16, 2016 - Top Five Finish for Seratt in Summer Sizzler at Jackson Motor Speedway
On Saturday night Preston Seratt returned to action after a few months away traveling to Jackson Motor Speedway (Byram, Mississippi) for the unsanctioned program. In a field of twenty-six cars for the Summer Sizzler, Seratt earned a 12th place starting for the $1,500-to-win A-Main via preliminary events. Working his way into a podium spot with 2 laps remaining, Preston fell back to a 4th place finish when the checkers flew finishing behind Ben Stephens, Gregg Hollingsworth, and Troy Dow with Lynnsee Provence coming in 5th.

March 30, 2016 - Preston Seratt Notches Runner-up Finish at Clayhill
Competing in the USCS special event, Preston Seratt traveled to Clayhill Motorsports (Atwood, Tennessee) on Monday night. After gaining three positions in his heat, Seratt scored heat race win securing his spot into the A-Main. Coming one spot short of winning, Preston recorded a runner-up finish in the feature event.

March 21, 2016 - Seratt Wins at Clayhill Motorsports
On Saturday night Preston Seratt returned to Clayhill Motorsports (Atwood, Tennessee) wheeling his DC Electric Rebuilders #29 Open Wheel Modified for the regular night of racing. After capturing a heat race win, Preston earned the pole position starting spot for the feature. Hanging on to the top spot for the caution-plagued A-Main, Seratt notched his second victory of the season with Matt Cooper, Lucas Lee, Greg Welch and Hunter Wilbanks trailling him across the finish line.

March 14, 2016 - Preston Seratt Places in the Top Five at Clayhill Motorsports
Preston Seratt headed to Clayhill Motorsports (Atwood, Tennessee) on Saturday night for the unsanctioned Gibson Co. Flea & Farmers Market Race Night. Following a 2nd place finish in his heat, Seratt notched a 5th place finish in the feature behind Matt Cooper, Robert Powers, Hunter Wilbanks, and Lucas Lee.

March 7, 2016 - Seratt Records Two Top Ten Finishes at Whynot Motorsports Park
Making his first trip of the year to Whynot Motorsports Park (Meridian, Mississippi), Preston Seratt was one of twenty-two Open Wheel Modifieds signed in on Friday night for the Southern Crate Late Nationals. Recording the twelfth fastest time in qualifying, Seratt was slated to start 12th in the feature. Working his way into the top five, Preston scored a 5th place finish behind Randy King, Toby Hodge, Noah Daspit, and Todd Neiheisen.

Returning on Saturday night to a field of fourteen cars, Seratt earned a 9th place starting spot for the $1,000-to-win feature after posting the ninth fastest time in qualifying. After working his way up to a 5th place spot, Preston fell back to a 9th place finish after clipping the wall late in the race.

April 29, 2016 - Preston Seratt Makes Trip to Bloomington Speedway
Traveling to Bloomington Speedway (Bloomington, Indiana) on Friday night, Preston Seratt was one of forty-three Open Wheel Modifieds signed in for the JB Robinson Memorial. Improving two positions in his heat, Seratt scored a runner-up finish behind Trent Young transferring him into the main event. Starting in 5th, Preston fell back to a 16th place outing in the A-Main.

April 16, 2016 - Preston Seratt Wins at Route 45 Raceway
Competing in the two-day United States Racing Association (USRA) event, Preston Seratt headed to Route 45 Raceway (Flora, Illinois) on Friday night for the Dealbreaker 50. Competing in a field of fifteen Open Wheel Modifieds, Seratt captured a heat race victory from the 4th place starting spot. Starting on the pole for his feature, Preston held off the field picking up his first victory of the season.

The following night Seratt came from the third row in the feature scoring a runner-up finish behind Brock Bauman with Cody Bauman, Stephen Muilenburg, and Justin Jones rounding out the top five.

April 2, 2016 - Seratt Heads to Humboldt Speedway for King of America VI
Powering the J&P Machine Repair #29 Open Wheel Modified, Preston Seratt made the trip to Humboldt Speedway (Humboldt, Kansas) on Thursday night for the United States Modified Touring Series (USMTS) King of America VI presented by Chix Gear. Drawing one-hundred and six entries for the opening night event, Seratt logged a 7th place finish in his first heat. Falling two positions in his second heat, Preston recorded a 9th place outing giving him 62 passing points going into Friday's action.

Starting on the pole of his first heat on Friday night, Seratt recorded a 4th place finish. Improving one spot in his second heat, Seratt transferred into a consolation event on Saturday night. Scoring a 3rd place finish in his first consolation event, Preston transferred into the D-Main for a shot at the C-Main. Retiring a 11th place outing, Preston Seratt’s night came to an early end.

March 24, 2016 - Preston Seratt Launches New Website; Ready for Busy '16 Season
Preston Seratt is the newest addition to the MSR Mafia team, and a brand-new website has been launched at www.PrestonSeratt29.com. (Josh James Artwork photo)

The Dyersburg, Tennessee racer is currently in his fifth year of competition. The 25-year-old competes in the Modified division, and pilots both Mark Bush Race Cars and Bandit Chassis. The team utilizes Mullins Racing Engines. He's claimed 15-wins early in his career.

Preston began his 2016 season in late January and early February with the annual Winter Nationals at East Bay Raceway Park (Gibsonton, Florida), where he came away with strong finishes, including a podium finish.
